Seascape Pollution?

Despite the excellent conditions, the sea was mostly empty safe for one Leach's Storm Petrel, a Northern Fulmar and a Little Auk (which — again — flew straight past me). Below the only worthy photo of the day.

(Isn't it surprising people complain about offshore wind parks ruining 'the view', yet ships — taking up far larger swathes of the horizon — that lie dormant for months to years on end never get mentioned?)

Northern Fulmar (Fulmarus glacialis) in a 'beautiful' seascape.
