Gullfest Scheveningen

I have regularly been ‘gulling’ in the past weeks, because of the seafood banquet deposited by a few storms and storm surges on the beaches of Scheveningen. As a result tens of thousands of gulls were present, a true Gullfest! However, I had hardly taken any photos of the spectacle. That was until Saturday, when I spend a few hours photographing mostly the smaller gulls, in search of a heinei Common Gull. I did not find a pure Eastern Common Gull, but the photos nevertheless turned out nice. Below is a selection of the roughly 3000 photos taken that day (oops)…
